The Center for Cooperative Research in Biomaterials, CIC biomaGUNE, together with Ikerbasque, invites applications for one Research Professor position in MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING.
We are looking for candidates with strong experience in preclinical imaging, in particular magnetic resonance imaging. Experience in multimodal imaging, NMR spectroscopy and development of nanomaterial contrast agents will be highly valued. Applicants must have a PhD in Chemistry, Physics Engineering, Biomaterials, or closely related fields.
The successful candidate must have an established record of excellence in research in the specific area and is expected to develop internationally recognized, externally funded research programs that complement or extend the strengths of CIC biomaGUNE, build internal and external collaborations, generate technology transfer and mentor graduate students.
CIC biomaGUNE, established at the Gipuzkoa Science and Technology Park in San Sebastián, carries out cutting edge research at the interface between Chemistry, Biology and Physics, with special attention to the interaction of nanomaterials with living systems, the properties of biological nanostructures at the molecular scale and their biomedical applications.
