CIC biomaGUNE is a non-profit association with the basic aim of creating, producing, promoting and applying scientific and technological knowledge in the biomaterials field by carrying out systematic research and experimental development work.
It will also encourage the transfer and dissemination of results to social and business actors in many sectors. Its activities are open to third parties rather than being restricted to its associates. CIC biomaGUNE intends to carry out the following activities (among others):
CIC biomaGUNE will have eight research groups. 70 positions have been filled by international researchers and qualified professionals which are grouped as follows: Biofunctional Nanomaterials Unit, Biosurfaces Unit, Support Services Unit and Administration Department.
