Ikerbasque, the Basque Science Foundation fostered by the government works to reinforce the local system of science by attracting researchers with international experience.
Ikerbasque has launched an international call for researchers in 2010, in order to contract 20 senior researchers.
The researchers will carry out their work in centres in the Basque Science System, preferably within a University.
This call is co-funded by both the European Commission, under the SMARTbrain project, and the Basque Government.
