New Ikerbasque research staff was received yesterday by the Prime Minister Lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu and Minister for Education Cristina Uriarte, during the annual event held at the Lehendakaritza.
Lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu presided the ceremony to hand out diplomas to the 20 scientists (9 research Professor & 11 research Fellow) from all areas of expertise that joined the universities and research centres of the Basque Country thanks to the programmes launched by Ikerbasque.
Fernando Cossío, Scientific Director of Ikerbasque, also took part in the ceremony, which was attended by representatives of the universities, research centres and technology centres of the Basque Country.
